Carbon Tax - NDP back peddling on

This week the Premier Eby chose political survival over our planet & people’s well-being. His priorities are clear.

Despite 65% of BC residents receiving rebates from the carbon tax, and $1 billion being returned to households in 2024, the Premier is attempting to convince the public that eliminating the carbon tax will improve affordability. However, this narrative overlooks the broader benefits of the tax, which not only helps mitigate climate change but also provides direct financial relief to a majority of residents. Ending the carbon tax risks undermining both affordability and progress toward environmental goals.

The BC Greens and I are now the only representatives providing true climate leadership and prioritizing people over politics. #bcpoli
